Bankcareersdirect.com provides jobs by SMS service as an option to all Jobseekers.
Q: How do I subscribe to the service?
During your registration you will have the option to opt-in to use this service; this is provided in the form of a checkbox. Ticking this will send an Invitation Message to the mobile number you used during your registration. This message is sent free of charge.
Upon receipt of this message if you text JOBS to 80818 this will activate your Jobs by SMS subscription. You will receive a confirmation message at a cost of £1. This confirms your subscription and details how to unsubscribe.
Q: How are alerts sent?
Our Jobs by SMS feature will send you a maximum of 1 SMS text per day at a cost of £1.
Q. How do I unsubscribe/stop the service?
You can text the word STOP to 80818 to cancel all services or you can unsubscribe by logging on to the website, clicking on Edit Your Details and de-selecting the SMS option. You will not receive any further SMS messages unless you select this option again.
Q. Who can receive messages?
You must be 16 or over, have a mobile phone connected to a Vodafone, Orange, O2, 3 or T-Mobile tariff and you must have read and accepted the terms and conditions on the website.
Q. How much does it cost to register?
Services available to Vodafone, Orange, O2, 3 and T-Mobile customers. The registration charge is £1 with subsequent job alerts costing £1 per jobs alert message.
